These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the
Hilltop Home-Based Physiotherapy Services website
and the physiotherapy services we provide. By booking or using our
services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Hilltop Home-Based Physiotherapy Services provides home-based
physiotherapy services within the following areas:
Rochdale, Oldham, Middleton, Heywood, Littleborough, Bury, Greater Manchester.
Our physiotherapists are HCPC registered and CSP members.
2. Appointments & Bookings
- Appointments can be requested via our contact form, phone, or email, and are confirmed once availability is checked.
- You agree to provide accurate contact and health information to help us prepare safely for your appointment.
- We reserve the right to decline or reschedule an appointment where it is not clinically appropriate or safe to proceed.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments (with less than 24 hours' notice) may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly if we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment on our end.
4. Fees & Payment
Current fees for our services are provided on request or shown on our website.
5. Clinical Care & Consent
- Before treatment begins, your physiotherapist will explain the proposed assessment/treatment and obtain your informed consent.
- You are free to ask questions, decline any part of the treatment, or stop a session at any time.
- Physiotherapy, like any healthcare intervention, carries some inherent risk of discomfort or, rarely, injury. Your physiotherapist will discuss any relevant risks specific to your treatment plan.
- Our care is provided in line with HCPC and CSP professional standards.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Please disclose relevant medical history, medications, and any changes in your condition between sessions.
- Please ensure a safe, reasonably accessible space is available in your home for the appointment (e.g. adequate lighting, floor space).
- Please treat our staff with courtesy and respect; we reserve the right to end a visit early or decline further bookings in cases of abusive or unsafe behaviour.
7. Limitation of Liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, in line with professional standards. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly at info@hilltop-physio.com so we can address your concerns. Complaints relating to professional conduct may also be raised with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
9. Data Protection
Our collection and use of your personal and health data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
